“ I loved the cut and it was cooked medium rare to perfection! The server was super friendly and as she realized we were there for a special occasion, she surprised us with a delicious dessert on the house. ”
“ One of the best Keg locations in town in my opinion, consistently good each time I’ve come. Compared to the Burnaby location near Willingdon, the prime rib is much better quality in terms of flavour and tenderness. Sides and accompaniments are delicious, onion rings are great with full onions and an even and crispy batter coating. Billy miner pie is a great and consistent dessert as well. Our server Christina was lovely, attentive and efficient, and our orders came out at a good pace. She was helpful in letting us know our prime rib could be split into 2 plates for us ahead of time, and offered a larger size prime rib that could be split between us as well if needed. Great experience, great staff, great location; will be back in the future! ”
“ Beautiful layout for downtown Keg. The service was very nice. They allowed me to walk to the potential table before the other guests arrived, which I appreciated. When ordering, they even suggested sharing, which I find some places frown upon. There was some feedback from the group regarding stale fried crisps that went along with the tuna tartare and the minimal rub on the prime rib, so a little more salt was needed. The T-bone 24oz was on special, and this was the tables favourite! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Overall, had a pleasant first time experience at this location. ”
“ Had a great night at The Keg with my girlfriend. We got the filet and the sirloin with lobster. The filet was a bit overcooked at first, but our server Kristy handled it perfectly. She got us a new one right away and another waiter I guess kitchen supervisor even came to check if everything was okay. My partner and I have been travelling around Canada for the last 2 weeks from Australia, and we are huge foodies. We have tried many different restaurants and cuisines during our trip, but honestly, tonight, The Keg has blown us away. After being a little let down by a few other places around Vancouver, we decided to try The Keg Yaletown tonight. To put it simply, we were sitting speechless, shaking our heads by the end of it - because we couldn't believe how bloody good this was. I ordered the Sirloin and Lobster, and my partner the Teriyaki, paired with the sauteed mushrooms and a wine each. Best steaks we've ever had. Our host, Alex, was an absolute legend. Alex looked after us ridiculously well and made the overall experience 10x better. “ We celebrated my wife’s birthday here, with an online reservation for the outdoor roof dining area. We watched the sun go down and our happy hour drink cups go up. The starters and mains rolled through at a nice pace and the service was at a high standard. Standout dishes include the soft and warm fresh bread rolls, the bacon and scallop skewers, and (of course) the steaks: each cooked to our liking. Overall, a great choice for any special occasion. ”

We were seated in a more private section of the rooftop, which made the evening feel extra special. I ordered the 20oz rib steak — hands down the best price-to-quality steak in the city at 63. We paired it with a bottle of J. Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon during happy hour for just 41 — amazing value. The highlight of the night was our fantastic server, Stephanie. She was exceptionally professional and even surprised us with birthday shots, which made the celebration even more memorable. With great food, excellent service, and rooftop vibes, it felt like the perfect way to kick off summer. Highly recommend! ”
